A Bitmap graphic contains the exact information you see, composed of dots. A Vector graphic contains a description of all the lines, curves, and other shapes. As the appearance of objects in a vector are based upon the output device, you get a much higher degree of detail.
You can also save and load blocks at any time.
When you use Arabesque it becomes obvious that the programmers have paid an incredible amount of attention to detail. Its speed will amaze you, while its ease of use will astound you. Arabesque is so fast, that you will think you have got a faster machine!
The easy to read, illustrated documentation clearly demonstrates the full capabilities of the program and its potential. Of course, if you have any questions, our excellent technical support is just a phone call away.
Arabesque was designed by professional artists who were disappointed by the quality of other design programs.
Those other programs offered lots of features, but when the authors sat down to use them they realised that they did not lend themselves to the artistic creation process. Arabesque's design is oriented towards simplifying the artistic process, not complicating it. You will find Arabesque to be unique in this area, allowing you to express yourself easily.
Arabesque is compatible with all Atari computers and also supports large high resolution displays. Arabesque requires at least 1 megabyte of RAM and a monochrome display. Arabesque also works with the Geneva multitasking environment, though only in Geneva's singletasking mode.
