An
incredibly powerful Bitmap to Vector conversion program, and Autotracer.Since the Vector graphic no longer contains the individual dots, but rather mathematical descriptions of the lines and curves making up the object, it can be easily scaled to any size without losing any image detail.
It then finds the type of Vector object (Bezier curve, straight line, etc.) which can best duplicate each specific portion of the original image. Then, one Vector object at a time, it builds a complete Vector graphic which is identical to the original. All of this, of course, takes place at an incredibly rapid speed.
| When finished, it will then let you display both the original Bitmap graphic and the new Vector graphic on top of each other. This lets you see if the new Vector object came out just the way you want it. | ![]() |
Convector lets you generate as many vector images as your computer's memory will hold.
These are complex questions which can depend on everything from how fast you want a Vector object generated to which program you plan to import it into.
However, with Convector, things could not be easier. You are allowed to not only set all the relevant settings, but actually "play" with them to see how they affect your generated Vector graphic. Convector is fast enough that you can easily try out many different settings.
This type of control lets you test different possibilities and make sure that you get the best result possible.
Each Bitmap image is different (especially true of scanned images of different sizes), which is why Convector gives you complete control at all times.
This lets you generate a number of different Vector graphics from a single Bitmap image, and then compare them all side by side.
Convector works with both Colour and Mono monitors, requires at least 1 Megabyte of memory and supports both Geneva and MultiTOS.
